Welcome to Międzyzdroje!

Villa Richter

At the end of the promenade at Bohaterów Warszawy Street in Międzyzdroje there is Villa Richter - built in 1908 in the style of Art Nouveau as a winter-summer residence, now carefully restored with the original condition under the supervision of the conservator-restorer. The villa was erected for a wealthy Richter family from Szczecin. Later it functioned as a state holiday resort "Rybitwa". Currently, Villa Richter is in the hands of private owners, whose idea is to restore former splendor of the place and to create a friendly, peaceful and elegant tourist facility that will satisfy even the most demanding guests.

Villa Richter is a real gem of Art Nouveau architecture in Międzyzdroje. The elegant holiday residence was opened by the owner of the furniture factory from Szczecin, Max Richter. An architect Schloss from Szczecin designed a construction project in 1907. Soon after local authorities issued building permits and next year, at the coastal promenade, a beautiful villa arose and was ready to welcome its first guests.
